Chinese Zodiac, and the Zodiac in general?

I thought I'd go ahead and jot down this idea of mine that has been festering around for some time, after I looked back at my Chinese New Year image. Originally it was meant as a poster image, but I wouldn't mind doing a series based off of the Chinese Zodiac - and while at it, do it for our Zodiac, too? It'd be a time consuming project, but I'd like to get onto it sooner or later for my portfolio.

In other news, man, was my thanksgiving break a trip! I really couldn't count it as one at this point - it was more stress to go, than not... but in the back of my mind, I do still appreciate getting to visit my parents. I'm back in Philly now, and hope to get started - and finished - with all of the work of this school year.

Choose a cat...

I thought i'd do my first post with a picture I attempted at earlier this week (namely, before thanksgiving), for the "Pick a cat, draw a girl" event going on. Unfortunately, I didn't get time to finish it... however, I would like to revisit this.
